We bring together Council teams, local leadership groups, advisory boards and partners working to support a more connected, resilient and future-focused Kāpiti economy.
Our work spans business support, industry development, investment attraction, tourism, events, innovation, partnerships and local economic opportunities. We work alongside businesses, mana whenua, sector leaders, regional agencies and community partners to help connect people with the right support, information and opportunities.
Kāpiti NZ Trust supports economic development activity across the district, working with Council and partners to help strengthen local business, industry and investment outcomes.
The Economic Development Kotahitanga Board provides strategic leadership, sector insight and connection to support Kāpiti’s economic development priorities.
Tourism is one of Kāpiti’s most visible and high-impact sectors. The Kāpiti Coast Tourism Advisory Board provides industry insight and guidance to support destination development, visitor economy activity and opportunities that strengthen tourism and events across the district.
