Recognising business success

Business awards are a valuable way to recognise the people, businesses and organisations contributing to Kāpiti Coast’s economy.

They provide opportunities for businesses to share their story, reflect on their progress, connect with others and build visibility across the district and wider region.

Kāpiti Coast District Council has been a long-term supporter of the Electra Business and Innovation Awards and the Wellington Gold Awards. Both awards platforms celebrate business achievement, innovation, resilience and leadership, while helping local businesses profile their work and connect with wider business networks.

Electra Business and Innovation Awards

The Electra Business and Innovation Awards recognise business excellence across Kāpiti Coast and Horowhenua.

Running for more than 30 years, the awards bring together local business communities and celebrate innovation, sustainability, resilience and strong business practice across a wide range of industries.

Businesses of all sizes and stages can enter. The process provides an opportunity to reflect on your business, receive feedback from experienced judges, build visibility and connect with other business leaders across the region.

Entering the awards can support your business by providing:

  • validation for your work
  • marketing and profile opportunities
  • feedback from expert judges
  • space to reflect on your business journey
  • connection with other local businesses
  • recognition as part of a long-running regional awards programme

Whether your business is established, growing, changing direction or building momentum, the Electra Business and Innovation Awards can be a useful way to share your story and recognise the work behind your business.

Wellington Gold Awards
