What does the journey from startup to scale actually look like?
In this conversation, two Kāpiti-based tech founders share the realities of building technology companies in Aotearoa, from early-stage startup through to established global businesses.
Ella Blake is co-founder of Altitude, a hotel experience platform helping accommodation providers enhance guest engagement and personalise the guest journey. Operating across several countries, Altitude is now entering a phase of growth as they scale.
Sam Minnée is co-founder of Silverstripe, NZ company behind Silverstripe CMS, one of the world’s leading open-source web platforms. What began as a startup has grown into a major digital platform provider delivering large-scale digital services for government and enterprise organisations across Aotearoa and internationally. Sam with co-founder, Diana Minnée are now looking to scale AskAstro which helps companies leverage AI for operations.
Together they will discuss the founder journey from two different stages of company growth, building products, scaling teams, navigating global markets from New Zealand, and the lessons learned along the way.
Platters will be available, alcohol can be purchased at the venue.
