Food and Beverage Cluster Meeting
Join us for a focused Kāpiti Food and Beverage Cluster meeting as we take the next step in establishing the proposed Cluster Leadership Committee.
Over the past few years, the Kāpiti Food and Beverage Cluster has built strong momentum through the Food and Beverage Game Plan, sector promotion, networking, events, business support, shared infrastructure conversations and Advisory Panel input. The cluster is now ready to move into a more structured, industry-led model.
This meeting is an opportunity for active cluster members to hear about the proposed Leadership Committee structure, understand how the model has been developed, ask questions, and endorse the next step before the Committee formally begins operating.
The proposed model is based on six key parts of the Kāpiti food and beverage sector:
- Artisan Food Makers
- Growers and Primary Producers
- Beverage Makers
- Hospitality, Cafés and Food Service
- Visitor Experience and Promotion
- Retail, Markets and Distribution
Each segment has one proposed Segment Lead, who would sit on the formal Cluster Leadership Committee, and one proposed Segment Support, who would help keep that part of the sector connected and informed.
What is the F&B Cluster?
The Kāpiti Food & Beverage Cluster brings together local producers, makers and hospitality businesses to stay connected and work more closely across the sector. Through regular meetups, workshops and shared opportunities, the cluster helps businesses build relationships, share knowledge and increase their visibility, whether through collaboration, events or storytelling. It’s a practical way to stay close to what’s happening across the Coast and be part of a sector that is continuing to grow and evolve.
