This session is designed as a practical working workshop, focused on applying AI to real business tasks.

Rather than a presentation, this is a hands-on session led by Diana Minnée (Ask Astro), where you’ll bring a current task or challenge and start working through it using AI in the room.

The focus is on how AI fits into day-to-day operations, identifying where it can add value, structuring tasks so tools produce useful output, and applying it in ways that save time without overcomplicating your workflow.

This is less about learning theory, and more about building confidence through doing.

What is Ask Astro?

Ask Astro is a New Zealand-based platform focused on helping businesses integrate AI into their day-to-day operations.

Led by Diana Minnée, the work is centred on making AI practical and usable, helping businesses understand where it fits, how to apply it effectively, and how to balance automation with human decision-making.
