Join us at Sunday Cantina in Raumati for our June KāpitiTech meetup as we look ahead to the future of the Kāpiti tech sector. This time we will be meeting for breakfast.
We'll be joined by Kāpiti local, Nate McCall who will share insights on building and exiting technology companies, scaling innovation, navigating the rapidly evolving AI landscape, and what founders and tech professionals should be thinking about as AI reshapes industries worldwide.
Following Nate's insights there will be an interactive discussion on the KāpitiTech Cluster Action Plan 2026 - 2028.
About Nate McCall
Nate brings deep roots in open-source and systems-level thinking. From early leadership in projects like Apache Cassandra to architecting tier-1 data systems at Apple and through his current staff engineer role in productionising AI at IBM, he has maintained a strong interest in large scale data infrastructure. For the past 26 years, his career has spanned three successful exits while managing to consistently live at the intersection of community-driven software and real-world production systems.
